Easy Homemade Vegan Fudge – Tastes Just Like Real Fudge!
The best part of visiting mountain towns was always the candy shops. I would drool over all the different slabs of fudge. Changing to a plant-based lifestyle, finding a good fudge is nearly non existent. So, I took it upon myself to create a healthy, delicious, plant-based, gluten-free, homemade vegan fudge for everyone to enjoy!
No Added Sugar
This delicious fudge is made with absolutely no added sugar. This was important to me because I love to create desserts that are healthier to enjoy on a more regular basis. It’s also much more difficult to create a good dessert recipe without just filling it with sugar.
Minimal Ingredients
I am not a fan of recipes with a laundry list of ingredients, so every ingredient listed has a big role. Now if you are craving a dessert you just need to make sure you give yourself enjoy time to let it set before enjoying!
TIPS AND TRICKS
- Slowly add in cacao powder because it takes a good mixing to get it well incorporated
- Use parchment paper for easy removal out of the dish that the fudge will set in
THE MORE YOU KNOW
Brown Rice Syrup
Brown Rice Syrup is a great healthy sweetener substitute for maple syrup or agave. This has a thicker consistency and can be found at any health foods grocery store such as Whole Foods, Sprouts Farmer’s Market, Natural Grocers, etc.
Almond Flour
Almond Flour is a great flour to replace regular flour if you want to go gluten-free! See my post about flours for more info!
