4 Easy Kale Chip Recipes – Quick, Easy, Delicious
Around the time I started to show more interest in a plant-based lifestyle, Kale had the ultimate glow-up. Kale went from being the most unwanted green to the most versatile and health beneficial green. What really got me to appreciate kale was the amazing trend of Easy Kale Chips!
If you absolutely hate vegetables, then I could not recommend anything better than some delicious Kale Chips. They are light, crispy, and take on the flavor of whatever you decide you want to season it.
I love classic, salty flavored Kale Chips, but I decided to go a bit kalezy and create 4 different amazing flavors to cover all your cravings. The secret to eating healthy and delicious is all in the spices. All four of these different spice combinations seem so simple, yet it makes such a big difference.

Tips & Tricks
- The oil is required to prevent the kale from being burned in the oven. Feel free to use your favorite oil, mine is olive!
- Dry out the kale after washing it so the oil sticks to the kale. This also helps the seasoning stick!
- Bake at a low temperature to get the chips crispy but not burnt!
- Feel free to get creative and add together some of the flavors! I personally think that the Cheesy and Garlic & Herb flavors would work great together. A Spicy BBQ could also be delicious!

Nutritional Yeast (nooch)
Nutritional Yeast provides a nutty flavor that many associate with a cheesy flavor profile. Great source of B12 and can be found in most grocery stores in the condiments section

4 Easy Kale Chip Recipes
Ingredients
General
- 1 bunch of Kale 6 – 8 stems
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
BBQ Flavor
- 2½ tsp Paprika
- 1½ tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Cumin
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- ¼ tsp Salt
Hot & Spicy Flavor
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
Garlic & Herb Flavor
- 1½ tsp Oregano
- 1½ tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
Cheesy Flavor
- 1½ tbsp Nutritional Yeast nooch
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp Onion Powder
- ¼ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and prepare the baking sheet with a silicone baking mat, parchment paper, or a light coat of oil.
- Wash, remove the stems, dry, and shred the kale into bite sized pieces. Drying the kale helps the seasoning stick better.
- Combine the spice mixture of choice in a small bowl.
- In a large bowl, coat the kale evenly in olive oil and then with the spice mixture.
- Once fully coated, evenly lay out the kale on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy. Flip the kale halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
- Enjoy while fresh!
