Homemade Green Juice

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Water not needed if using a juicer
  • 2 cup Kale packed (6-8 stems)
  • 2 cup Spinach packed
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 3 Stalks of Celery
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • 1 Green Apple optional
  • 1-2 inch Ginger Root optional

Instructions

  • You must wash everything thoroughly!
  • Remove the stems from the Kale. Chop up the rest of the ingredients to be blended more easily.
  • Load the blender in the order of ingredients listed (always want to have the more leaf ingredients towards the bottom of the blender).
  • Blend everything, then pour everything into the nut milk bag or cheesecloth. Strain the juice out. It helps to twist and knead.
  • Store the juice into airtight containers and let it sit until it reaches room temperature before storing in the fridge and ENJOY!
