Homemade Apple Butter

I absolutely love some apple butter, but the problem is that store bought apple butter contains so many additives and sugar. Well luckily this homemade apple butter uses minimal ingredients, minimal effort, is 100% vegan, plant-based, gluten-free, and added sugar free!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Honey Crisp Apples
  • 2 lbs Granny Smith Apples
  • 2 lbs Fuji Apples
  • ½ Lemon juiced
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Allspice optional

Instructions

  • Chop up the Apples. You may leave the skin on because it will soften while cooking.
  • Throw everything into a slow cooker for 8 hours.
  • Throw everything into a blender and blend.
  • If you want a thicker consistency, then pour blended Apple Butter into a pot and simmer until it reaches desired consistency and ENJOY!
