Wash, prep, and chop/shred vegetables.
If you’re using olive oil, then place kale in a large bowl and add olive oil. Massage kale with hands for 5 minutes to soften.
If you’re not using olive oil, then bring a pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, place kale in water for 1-2 minutes and then quickly wash kale with cold water to stop the cooking. Rinse, dry, and place kale in a mixing bowl.
Add carrots, purple cabbage, liquid aminos, lemon, and garlic salt to the bowl and mix thoroughly.
